Introduction
This clarification text has been prepared to ensure that the personal data of individuals visiting the website of Merinos Carpet Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company (“Merinos”) are processed in accordance with the relevant legislation, primarily the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, international agreements on human rights to which our state is a party, and the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law No. 6698”), and to enable the concerned individuals whose data are processed to effectively exercise their rights. All personal data processed by us will be handled in a lawful manner, with sensitivity to data security, in connection with and to the extent necessary for our activities and service purposes, and in accordance with the principles set forth in Article 4 of Law No. 6698.

We act in accordance with the regulations stipulated in Law No. 6698 regarding the transfer of personal data. In exceptional cases prescribed by Law No. 6698 and other legislation, utmost care is taken to comply with the forms and limitations set forth in the legislation during the transfer of personal data.
Your personal data may be transferred in accordance with the procedures and principles stipulated in the relevant legislation and in compliance with the conditions and purposes of personal data transfer specified in Articles 8 and 9 of Law No. 6698 to;

Rights of the Data Subject as Specified in Article 11 of Law No. 6698
Your rights as regulated in Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 are as follows:

5.3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

5.7. To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,

5.9. To demand compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of personal data.
