As Merinos, one of the leading carpet manufacturing companies in the world, we commit to:
- Ensuring full compliance with the energy-related legislation in force in the Republic of Türkiye and all conditions accepted by us as a compliance obligation, providing the necessary information and resources to achieve our objectives and targets,
- Minimizing our carbon footprint in energy management, taking measures to protect the environment as prescribed by the legislation in force in the Republic of Türkiye, and improving energy efficiency by following new technologies,
- Providing the necessary human, technological, infrastructural, and financial resources to increase energy efficiency and reduce natural resource usage,
- Establishing a risk and opportunity management approach at all levels and functions of the organization to ensure energy efficiency and diversify our energy sources,
- Implementing energy efficiency activities without compromising the existing quality and comfort conditions of our customers and employees,
- Encouraging our suppliers and all business partners to improve their energy performance and adopt a life cycle approach,
- Considering energy efficiency in all our processes, including purchasing products and services, new investments and designs, production, and all other processes,
- Using renewable and clean energy sources in all our processes and contributing to reducing the country's dependence on external energy sources,
- Organizing training activities for our employees, stakeholders, and the public to raise awareness of environmental and energy issues, and ensuring their awareness of our policy.
