İbrahim Erdemoğlu stated that the performances of Erdemoğlu Holding group companies in 2019 were more successful and brighter than 2018, and that in 2019, all companies realized a total turnover of 1 billion 100 million and recorded a growth of 32 percent compared to 2018, and the total number of employees in 2019 increased to 10,065 people and an employment increase of 26 percent was achieved compared to the previous year.

İbrahim Erdemoğlu said, 'We have planned by adding growth and new investments to our vision of 2020. Our growth target in 2020 is between 20 percent and 30 percent, and we aim for a growth of approximately 20 percent in employment. In the new period, we accelerated our efforts to establish wall-to-wall carpet, area carpet and recycling facilities, especially POY and Texturizing, and to make our existing facilities more modern. Meanwhile, our thousand tons / day POY facility has been put into use. We have also pressed the button for our PTA investment, the raw material of polyester, which is our main plan. While our negotiations with many world-famous companies on this issue continue, we have also decided on the technology we will use. We expect that the last quarter of 2020 will be a serious recovery period, and the impact of the virus on the world will decrease in the next three to five months. We think that if new treatments and vaccines are found, the world will grow very rapidly in economic terms. We anticipate that our country will be more successful from this process and will differentiate positively among developing countries. As Erdemoğlu Holding, we believe that we will make a serious contribution to this growth both in terms of turnover and employment”.

In the rest of our production, we produced the healthy and quality goods that our customers abroad wanted and exported these. During this period, we experienced increases in both our exports and our domestic sales. Here, we have determined our production in a way that puts human health first, in the difficult period of our country and the world, which is important for us. We focused on the hygiene group. We increased the production of raw materials for companies in the wet wipes, diapers, disposable materials, packaging industry and agriculture sector. On this occasion, we contributed to production both in our country and in the world. Especially since the products our company produces in the field of health are pharmaceutical industry, hygiene, and health group products, we made a work program to meet the needs of each of our customers without compromising on this issue. 2020 will be a really difficult year for the world and our country. Production was cut, factories closed, unemployment increased. There has been uncertainty about the future around the world. However, we think that this situation will disappear at the end of 2020 and that 2021 will be a new starting year for the world. We believe that investments that are more environmentally friendly, more humane and that prioritize human health will pave the way, and our country will achieve a growth of around 5 percent in 2021.
