SASA ATTENDS THE DAVOS OF THE GULF 25-May-2023
The Qatar Economic Forum known as the Davos of the Gulf has started. The forum, which will also continue today, was marked by the talks of Sasa from Turkey. Organized in cooperation with the Bloomberg Media Group in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, the forum is held with the participation of more than 2,000 leading names in the world economy. The forum, which was inaugurated by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Sani, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban; government leaders of Rwanda, Bangladesh, Georgia, Ghana, and Paraguay; IMF Director Kristalina Georgieva, many ministers from Qatar, Michael Bloomberg, TikTok CEO Shou Chew, and renowned economist Nouriel Roubini known as the crisis predictor also attended.
The Forum provides leading names of business from around the world with the opportunity to exchange ideas and establish a dialogue on important global issues. In addition to statesmen, top-level businesspeople, and investors, reputed social media users for culture, sports, and entertainment events also attend the forum. In the forum, the fields of finance, energy, health, and technology and their role in shaping the future development are addressed through interviews, discussion programs, and workshops. Sasa, one of the Erdemoğlu Holding companies participating in the forum from Turkey, attracted attention substantially. Sasa's advisors Mehmet Şimşek, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and İbrahim Turhan, Former Borsa İstanbul Chairman, also participated in the Sasa delegation chaired by İbrahim Erdemoğlu, Chairman of the Erdemoğlu Holding Board of Directors. The forum, which will end today, was held for the first time in June 2021.
